Welcome to Urban Vikings. These terms apply to all purchases and participation in our scheduled trips and activities, including guided tours, excursions, and sauna sessions as published on urbanvikings.no.

1. Confirmation

• Your booking is binding once you receive a written confirmation from Urban Vikings that your payment has been received.

• Urban Vikings is then responsible for delivering the products or events you have ordered.

• You become financially responsible for the booking once confirmed.

By making a booking, you confirm that you:

• Have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself and any travel companions.

• Accept responsibility for full payment on behalf of all participants in your group.

• Have checked that all booking details are correct.

• Will keep all participants informed about booking details and any changes.

2. Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before departure.

• For cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure, no refund will be issued.

Refunds (if applicable) will be made to the same payment method used at booking.

3. Complaints

• Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 5 days after the activity.

• Complaints received after this period will not qualify for financial compensation.

4. Program Changes

Urban Vikings reserves the right to:

• Modify or cancel tours, sauna sessions, or other activities due to weather, safety concerns, or operational reasons.

• Contact the main participant via the email address used when booking.

If we cancel an activity, you will receive a full refund.

5. Responsibility

• Urban Vikings holds liability insurance through our insurance provider.

• All participants must have valid travel or activity insurance.

Urban Vikings cannot be held responsible for:

• Losses or extra costs due to force majeure events (e.g. weather, illness, strikes, accidents).

• Loss or damage to personal belongings (bags, phones, glasses, cameras, clothing, etc.).

6. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to join any booked trip or sauna session.

Please note:

• All participants must follow safety instructions from Urban Vikings staff.

• We reserve the right to deny participation if a participant poses a safety risk or causes disturbance.

• By booking, you confirm that you have no medical condition preventing safe participation.

If a participant:

• Fails to follow instructions → may be removed from the activity (no refund).

• Leaves early voluntarily → not entitled to a refund.

7. Health & Safety Disclaimer – Sauna Activities

Please read carefully before booking sauna sessions.

Sauna use involves high temperatures and may not be suitable for everyone. Participants agree to the following:

• Consult a doctor before using the sauna if you have heart, respiratory, skin, or other health conditions.

• No alcohol before or during sauna use.

• Stay hydrated before and after your session.

• Follow staff guidance on duration, cooling, and use of facilities.

• Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

By booking a sauna session, you acknowledge that:

• Participation is at your own risk.

• You are medically fit for sauna use.

• Urban Vikings is not liable for injuries or health issues caused by not following safety guidelines.

8. Disputes

Any disputes between the customer and Urban Vikings will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts where Urban Vikings is registered.
